I'm already feeling it!

I think I just did something I might regret later...I deleted my Google Reader. I immediately got a cold sweat and wanted it back as soon as I hit delete! Is there some sort of 12 step program for people like me?

I became so dependent on my reader that I stopped going to the individual blogs themselves consequently not leaving very many comments at all. And aren't the comments a huge part of why we blog? And aren't my lovely comments another huge part some of you continue to blog? :) Ok, maybe not but I figure this is why I'm feeling a little less "connected" than I used to. So, NO MORE READER! Now if I can just bring myself to delete that other thing that takes up all my time and keeps me from visiting other people's blogs...my facebook account!

Oh, wow....I couldn't do that. Before I got a reader, I barely read ANY blogs regularly (actually, make that none), and the amount of time I spent when I did decide to sit down and run through all my faves (which only numbered less than 30 at the time!), it would take me HOURS to load each page, and then read through the ones that had even updated since last time! And I do find myself commenting as often as I did before, because of the handy feature of the comments link inside my reader window. I think I would die without my reader! rofl

I stopped the reader awhile ago too. There is life after. Keep strong!

Yep, I got rid of mine too and never looked back. It took all the joy out of blogging. And I'd definitely miss your comments. I noticed you hadn't been around as much.

Good luck to you. I've recently gotten my facebook problem under control. It can be done.

I also had to stop using Reader for the same reason. I still find it hard to get around to all the blogs I love (there are so many great ones out there), but feel I get a bit more quality time on them when I do.
